He was the General Manager of the Winnipeg Goldeyes Professional Baseball Club for the first eight years of the club's existence and the original founder of Home Run Sports, a Canadian sporting goods company which grew to be one of the largest independent stores in the country. Under his leadership, the Goldeyes set many attendance records, raised the bar for customer service in their market, and established themselves as one of the most successful professional sports franchises in Canada.
